The nursing home ministry is a very important and vital ministry at New Life. We don’t exclude ministering to anyone regardless of how old they are. The monthly visits to the White Oak Manor nursing home consist of many things spiritual and otherwise. A normal visit would consist of an opening prayer, testimony time (giving glory to Jesus for the things going on in their lives), and bingo (with small cash prizes). The main purpose of the nursing home ministry is to encourage and love those who, often times, don’t get many visitors. Really, that is the overall purpose of New Life, which is why we are considered a refuge in a mean and hard world. If you wish to be a blessing to the nursing home ministry you can give your time or finances (in person or online through our “giving” tab.
When: Every third Saturday from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
